The standard cross-section is 40mm×40mm, the typical wall thickness is 2.0mm, and the thickness of the diagonal rib is about 1.8mm. This scientific design ensures higher structural strength while maintaining the lightweight characteristic, which is more stable than the 3030 aluminum profile and better adapts to the load-bearing requirements of medium and heavy-duty scenarios.
This is a prominent advantage of the 4040 aluminum profile. It is equipped with continuous notches, usually 8mm wide, and can be used with various special connectors, such as T-bolts, angle brackets and connecting plates. This realizes fast, welding-free modular assembly, which not only inherits the convenient installation of the 3030 aluminum profile but also further improves installation efficiency and connection stability, suitable for large-scale frame assembly.
It is usually treated with anodization, presenting a silver-white appearance with excellent corrosion resistance and wear resistance, which is more durable than the 3030 aluminum profile in complex industrial environments. Custom colors are also available, such as matte silver, royal blue and rose gold, combining modern sense, safety and aesthetic appeal to meet diverse decorative needs.
With a span of 500mm and bolt connection, the 4040 aluminum profile with a thickness of 2.5mm can bear a weight of up to 350kg, far exceeding the load-bearing capacity of the 3030 aluminum profile under the same span. It is very suitable for medium to high-load application scenarios, filling the gap of the 3030 aluminum profile in heavy-load use.
